Gender Diversity & Affectional Orientation

We have extensive experience helping folx access gender affirming care, dealing with coming out and/or managing minority stress related to identity.

Addiction

We will help you answer questions like: "Do I have to stop?", "How do I get this under control?". We will help you pick the best approach including harm reduction, abstinence, medication assisted therapy, individual and group therapy.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

DBT is a treatment model that works to help with dysregulated emotions common to persons with symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder, dissociative disorder, Bipolar, depression, trauma, etc.

Court required and Mandated treatment

We offer compassionate and client focused therapy to help clients meet court ordered requirements. We understand that people need someone on their side to help them work their way through the criminal justice system. Our services include anger management, DOT/SAP assessments and treatment, and ASAP/ probation referrals for substance abuse treatment.

Lighthouse Counseling of Fredericksburg strongly supports Harm Reduction efforts in our area. As part of this attempt to save lives by avoiding drug overdose, we have free Narcan, Fentanyl test kits, Xylazine test kits, and medication disposal kits. Please contact our office (you can remain anonymous) and we will be happy to help you.
