RCASA started in 1986 and is the only place in Central Virginia that specializes in treatment for victims of sexually based crimes such as: sexual assault, stalking and sexual harassment. They offer 24 hour hotline phone support and crisis services, victim advocacy for medical care and legal needs, parent education, counseling services and community services.

Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence (RCDV)
RCDV provides a 24 hour hotline, temporary emergency shelter, information, referrals, support groups and advocacy for those affected by domestic violence

FAHASS provides case management and support programs for persons with HIV/AIDS.
